The Hochlandhütte is an alpine club hut of the Hochland section of the German Alpine Club at 1623 m above sea level. NHN west below the Wörner on a small grass ledge with a view of the Wettersteingebirge with Zugspitze and Alpspitze as well as Estergebirge . The small refuge is located in the Bavarian part of the Karwendel high above the Isar valley . The Hochlandhütte, built in 1909, is a base for mountain tours in the Soiern Group and the Northern Karwendel Range, as well as a destination for day visitors who can easily descend from Mittenwald on the same day. The hut is closed in winter; There is no room for ski tourers as the area does not offer suitable terrain for ski tours .

- From Mittenwald via Dammkarstraße or Ochsenbodensteig and Bankerl, easy, walking time: 3½ hours
- From the Seinsbach car park on the B 11 between Krün and Mittenwald via the Hüttenweg, easy, walking time: 2 hours

- Wörner via Wörnersattel and normal route (marked, climbing points in difficulty level II according to UIAA , not secured), walking time: 3 hours
- Tiefkarspitze ( 2430 m above sea level ), Großkarspitze (southern ( 2289 m above sea level ), Middle ( 2361 m above sea level ), northern ( 2420 m above sea level )) and Hochkarspitze ; only suitable for climbers
- Predigtstuhl ( 1975 m above sea level ), Wörnerkopf ( 1979 m above sea level ), both are largely easy to climb, walking time 1 hour each
