Kristianstad University of Applied Sciences (Swedish: Högskolan i Kristianstad ) is a state university in the city of Kristianstad , Sweden , with around 15,000 enrolled students and 800 academic staff.

The Kristianstad University of Applied Sciences was established in 1977 through the amalgamation of the higher education institutions in Kristianstad, some of whose history dates back to the 19th century. The university is now divided into five departments and a technical school.
