The place is around 380  m above sea level. A. in Antiesental , approx. 8½ km north of the district town of Ried im Innkreis , as a street village on Hausruck Straße  (B143, former Hausruck-Bundesstraße), which runs along the Antiesen to the west ( orographic left ) .

The place comprises about 20 buildings with 50 inhabitants, whereby the southern part belongs to the municipality of Aurolzmünster as Rotte , the northern part also belongs to the Rotte zu St. Martin. The settlement area is already closed to the center of St. Martin, and in the south there is hardly any border via Haging to Forchtenau .

The Salzkammergutbahn (Attnang-Puchheim - Schärding line) is to the west of the village, and the St. Martin im Innkreis train station is just northwest of the village .

history

The place Hoefing was still written in the 19th century and includes four goods directly on the Ried - Antiesenhofen post road . The grounds, the Höfingerfeld , lies to the south-west, the north-west grounds belonged to the Meierhof of St. Martin Castle , which is just north of the village.
