Hohausen is a deserted area in the district of Vasbeck in the North Hessian municipality of Diemelsee .

Geographical location

The place was about 382 meters above sea ​​level southeast of Vasbeck. Today there are the field names "Am Hausen", "Auf dem Hausenberg" and "In den Hausen".

history

When the place was settled and when it was abandoned is not known. So far there is only one documentary mention from the year 1483: "In 1483 Heinrich Blivar sold his son-in-law Jürgen Slingwurm his goods in Vasbeck, Mühlinghausen and Hevenhausen for 60 Rhenish guilders subject to repurchase."
