Dödinghausen is a deserted area in the district of Wirmighausen in the North Hessian municipality of Diemelsee .

Geographical location

The place was about 435 meters above sea ​​level , roughly in the middle between Wirmighausen and Vasbeck and a little over a kilometer west of Gembeck .

In the period from 1028 to 1036, the noblewoman Reinike gave her property in Dodanhusen to the diocese of Paderborn . In 1286 Elger Dickebir left the farm and two hooves in Dödinghausen to the Bredelar monastery as a memorial foundation for his family . In 1325 Konrad von Horhusen gave his brother Ulrich and his family his rights in Dödinghausen.
