history
The historical Hohner Harde was part of the Gottorf office in the late Middle Ages (approx. 1250 to 1500) . When the formerly free municipality of Breiholz merged with the offices of Hamdorf and Hohn in 1970, the newly formed office was named Amt Hohn . In 1999 the name was changed to Amt Hohner Harde , although the Breiholz in the Holstein region did not belong to the historic Hohner Harde .
Since January 1, 2008, the Hohner Harde office has formed an administrative partnership with the municipality of Fockbek . Since then, in addition to the administrative business for the Fockbek office, Fockbek has also carried out the administrative business for the Hohner Harde office.
The term Harde comes from the Danish reign before 1864 and describes a lower administrative district.
