Hu Tianyu ( Chinese  胡天宇 , Pinyin Hú Tiānyǔ ; born February 19, 1992 ) is a Chinese ice hockey player who has been under contract with KRS Heilongjiang and KRS-ORG Beijing in the Wysschaja Hockey League since 2017 .

Career

Hu Tianyu began his career as an ice hockey player in an amateur team from Qiqihar , for which he has played in the Chinese ice hockey league since 2008 . In 2010 he became the Chinese national champion with the team. Then the professional team China Dragon became aware of him and he switched to the team from Shanghai in the Asia League Ice Hockey in the same year . In 2012 he moved to the other side of the Sea of Japan for league rivals Tōhoku Free Blades . With the team from Hachinohe he won the Asia League Ice Hockey in 2013 and 2015. After three years in Japan, he returned to his homeland and from 2015 played again for China Dragon. When the kite team was disbanded in 2017, the newly founded KRS Heilongjiang signed him from the Wysschaja Hockey League . In 2018 the club moved to Beijing and was renamed KRS-ORG Beijing .

International

For China , Hu Tianyu competed in the junior division of the U18 World Junior Championship of Division II in 2008 and 2009 and the U20 World Junior Championship of Division II in 2009 , 2010 , when he was named the best player of his team, and 2011 .

In the senior category , the striker was in China's squad at the World Championships of Division II in 2010 , 2011 , 2012 , 2013 , when he was named the best player of his team, and in 2014 , 2016 , 2017 , when he had the best plus / minus balance of the tournament , and 2018 . He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the 2018 Winter Games in Pyeongchang and the 2011 and 2017 Asian Winter Games .
