Hubertus Grunhofer

Hubertus J. Grunhofer (* 14. March 1922 ; † 7. August 2000 in Fuerstenfeldbruck ) was a German generaloberstabsarzt a. D. From 1980 to 1982 he was inspector of the medical service .

biography

Grunhofer studied human medicine and doctorate in October 1947 at the University of Würzburg to Dr. med.

As a medical officer in the Air Force (Bundeswehr) , he was, among other things, head of the Bundeswehr medical office . In his last military service he was from April 1, 1980 to March 31, 1982 Inspector of the Sanitary and Health System with the rank of Chief Staff Officer . During his tenure, he mainly campaigned for the expansion of the reserve hospital organization and the improvement of NBC protection .

In 1977 he became a Fellow of the Aerospace Medical Association .
