Hansjoachim Linde
Hansjoachim Linde (born April 6, 1926 in Ortelsburg , East Prussia; † February 12, 2020 in Mönchengladbach ) was a retired German senior staff doctor. D. the Bundeswehr. From 1982 to 1986 he was inspector of the medical service.
Life
After his return from Soviet captivity in 1947, Hansjoachim Linde made up his Abitur in Viersen in the Rhineland and from 1948 studied medicine at the Philipps University of Marburg and the Medical University of Innsbruck . In 1948 he became a member of the Catholic student association KDSt.V. Palatia Marburg in the CV . In September 1954 he put his state examination and was established in October 1959 with the dissertation finger strips and constitution to Dr. med. doctorate and completed specialist training in surgery.
In 1957 he entered the service of the German Armed Forces as a surgical assistant doctor and was involved in various positions in the German Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defense. From 1971 to 1974 he was a consultant for leadership and planning in the Federal Ministry of Defense. As a medical officer of the Air Force (Bundeswehr) , he was, among other things, from 1977 to 1979 in the rank of general physician, commander of the Academy of Medical and Health Services of the Bundeswehr and, in his last military assignment, from April 1, 1982 to September 30, 1986, inspector of the medical and health system in the rank of Chief Medical Officer (GenOStArzt). Before that, he was Chief of the Medical Office of the Federal Armed Forces as General Staff Doctor from April 1, 1980 to March 31, 1982, among other things entrusted with the management of the Armed Forces hospitals.
In the Decade for the Reduction of Natural Disasters he sat on the board of the German Committee for Disaster Prevention until 1996. He was a permanent guest of the Bavarian Red Cross . and State Convention Commissioner of the Bavarian Red Cross. After his retirement he was a federal doctor for the German Red Cross for ten years .
In 1997, Cardinal Grand Master Giuseppe Caprio made Hansjoachim Linde Knight of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem and invested in Salzburg Cathedral on May 26, 1979 . Most recently he was an officer in the Papal Lay Order. He was involved in numerous social projects in the Holy Land . He was also a member of the German Association of the Holy Land .
