Hugo Armando Campagnaro (born June 27, 1980 in Córdoba ) is an Argentine football player .
Club career
Campagnaro learned to play football in the youth of Deportivo Morón in Argentina as a defender. In 2002 Piacenza Calcio bought it . He made his debut for the Emilians on September 22, 2002 in the Serie A game against Udinese Calcio . On April 27, 2003 he scored his first Serie A goal for Piacenza. After relegation to Serie B , Campagnaro stayed with the club for four years until he moved to Sampdoria Genoa in 2007 and signed a four-year contract with the Genoese club.
On August 16, 2007, the second match day of the UEFA Cup preliminary round , he scored his first goal for the Blucerchiati against Hajduk Split . After a short time he became a favorite player of Sampdoria fans. After a good start to the season, the Argentine injured his right calf muscles in the league match against Atalanta Bergamo on January 27, 2008 and was out for several months. In a friendly against FC Chiasso in early July 2008, he injured his right calf again and was out for two months. It was not until November 27, 2008, in the group stage of the UEFA Cup against VfB Stuttgart , that Campagnaro was able to play again for Sampdoria Genoa. But at the beginning of January 2009 he injured his right calf again and paused again for a few weeks.
In early July 2009 Campagnaro moved to Sampdoria's league rivals SSC Napoli , where he signed a contract until 2013. He made his debut for the southern Italians on August 16, 2009 in the cup game against Salernitana Calcio , the game ended with a 3-0 win for the Partenopei . On March 21, 2010, the defender scored his first goal for Napoli in the away game at AC Milan , the game ended in a 1-1 draw. With the southern Italians, the Argentine won the Coppa Italia in 2012 , where he played for the full 90 minutes in the final against Juventus Turin . He was also Italian runner- up with Napoli in the 2012/13 season.
After his contract with the southern Italians expired, Campagnaro moved to Inter Milan in the summer of 2013 , where he signed until 2015.
Campagnaro has been playing for Delfino Pescara 1936 since 2015 .
National team
On February 29, 2012, he made his national team debut for Argentina , where he was in the starting line-up and played over 90 minutes. Argentina won the game 3-1 thanks to a hat trick from Lionel Messi .
