history

In the corridors of Husa there was the village and the farm yard Svojkov since the 14th century. Svojkov was located in the border area of the lords of Skal and Aicha , between which it was divided. In the 15th century the whole village came under the rule of Skal. Later it passed to the dominion of Rohozec and Svijany . During the Thirty Years War, Svojkov died out and remained desolate.

After Vincenz Lamotte von Frintropp had acquired the rule of Albrechtitz in 1669, the Lamotte built the baroque Sychrov Castle on the site of the desert fortress Svojkov in 1690 . On the old trade route between Bohemia and Upper Lusatia , the U divoké husy ( To the Wild Goose ) was created, the existence of which has been documented since 1721. A small settlement that was named Husa developed around the inn and a forge. The Lamotte was followed by the Counts of Waldstein from 1749 and the Princes Rohan as owners from 1812 . These connected the entire village to their rule Sychrov .

In the 19th century, the new imperial road from Turnov to Liebenau was built east of the village . A brickworks with a ring kiln was built in Husa in the 1840s for the reconstruction of Sychrov Castle. At this time Husa became known through the carving workshop of Petr Bušek and his sons Dominik and Konstantin. Another son of Petr Bušek achieved fame as a poet and translator under the pseudonym Bohdan Kaminský . The Bušek workshop, which was initially located in Husa No. 18, where Bohdan Kaminský was born, was mainly active in the areas of the Princely Rohan estates. Under Dominik Bušek, the workshop moved to Villa Fialka in 1890.

After the abolition of patrimonial Husa formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Štveřín in the Turnov district . In 1859 the railway line was built south of Husa. During the construction of the railway, the "U Pecinů" inn served as an ambulance and hospital for the workers.

After the Second World War, the princes Rohan were expropriated in 1945. Twelve families left the village during this time and after the expulsion of the Sudeten Germans moved to Jílové, Hodkovice nad Mohelkou , Liberec and Šluknov . At the beginning of 1961, Husa was incorporated into Sychrov and at the same time came to Okres Liberec . In the following years "Velký Sychrov" was expanded into a "socialist village". In the process, new residential buildings were built in Husa and residents moved there. Husa has been a part of Paceřice since 1990 . In 1997 the R 35 expressway was completed. In 1991 the place had 124 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 32 houses in which 131 people lived.
