ICC World Cricket League 2009-14
The ICC World Cricket League 2009-14 was the second season of the ICC World Cricket League (WCL). It consisted of eight worldwide divisions, which were established in the previous season, and some regional tournaments. The divisions played staggered in time and roughly viewed from bottom to top in individual tournaments that are played in the ODI format. In each case, two promoted players were determined who can then compete in the next division at the next tournament. The ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2014 , which was held in New Zealand , marked the end.
Qualification for the Cricket World Cup
While the WCL was being held, there were changes to the qualification mode for the 2015 Cricket World Cup . Originally, the 2013 qualifier in Scotland was supposed to determine the teams that would take part in the Cricket World Cup alongside the test nations. However, this was suspended by the ICC , as only the 10 test nations were to take part in this tournament. However, the ICC revised the decision at the end of June 2011 so that associated members of the ICC could also qualify.
Attendees
In principle, the 'Associate' and 'Affiliate' members of the ICC are eligible to participate . In the preseason these were grouped into the divisions according to their strength. The regional tournaments are then located below the eighth division, with the best-placed tournaments qualifying for the global divisions.

The rankings are given without the ten full members of the ICC . The teams currently in positions 11 to 12, like the ten full members, are included in the “One-Day International” world rankings. All other national teams are listed in the five continental rankings. The start and end divisions that were reached before and after the tournaments for the World Cricket League 2009-2013 are given. Since tournaments of the ICC World Cricket League 2012-18 were already held for the lower divisions, the official ODI ranking list after the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2014 resulted in a different order for the teams concerned than shown here.
