IC 1054 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 367 million light years from the Milky Way and about 110,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 5738 , NGC 5740 , NGC 5746 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on June 8, 1893 .
