IC 1380 is a compact galaxy of Hubble type C in the constellation Pegasus at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 576 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 50,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 7077 , NGC 7081 , IC 1379 , IC 5111 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on October 3, 1891 .
