IC 1390 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Aquarius on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 257 million light years from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light years across.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy IC 1387 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on December 4, 1891 .
