IC 1381 is a spiral galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type Sab in the constellation Aquarius on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 416 million light years from the Milky Way and about 100,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 7069 , IC 1383 , IC 1384 , IC 1385 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on November 6, 1891 .
