IC 2150 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation dove on southern sky . It is around 131 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 105,000 light years .
The supernovae SN 2016bfu ( Type-Ia ) and SN 2016bfv (Type-II) were observed here.
The object was discovered by Lewis Swift on January 31, 1898 .
