IC 2160 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Table Mountain in the southern sky . It is an estimated 203 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 130,000 light years in diameter.
The supernovae SN 2009J and SN 2009iw ( type Ia ) were observed here.
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on December 18, 1900 .
