IC 2176 is a spiral galaxy from the Hubble type S in the constellation of twins on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 329 million light years from the Milky Way and about 90,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy IC 2178 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on February 11, 1898 .
