IC 2182 is a spiral galaxy from the Hubble type S in the constellation of twins on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 555 million light years from the Milky Way and about 85,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of ​​the sky is u. a. the galaxy IC 2181 .

The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on February 7, 1896 .
