IC 2201 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sa in the constellation Gemini on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 205 million light years from the Milky Way and about 80,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 2410 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on February 11, 1898 .
