IC 3482 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type S in the constellation Coma Berenices the northern sky . It is estimated to be 838 million light years from the Milky Way and 75,000 light years across.
The galaxies IC 3454 , IC 3458 , IC 3494 , IC 3515 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 23, 1903 .
