IC 3484 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Coma Berenices the northern sky . It is estimated to be 356 million light years from the Milky Way and about 10,000 light years across. The galaxy is listed as a member of the Virgo Galaxy Cluster under catalog number VCC 1476 , but it is too far away for that.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4539 , IC 3433 , IC 3448 , IC 3530 .
The object was discovered on May 7, 1904 by the American astronomer Royal Harwood Frost .
