IC 3530 is a lenticular dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type S? in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 48 million light-years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 20,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky there are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4539 , IC 3473 , IC 3484 , IC 3580 .
The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 7, 1904 .
