IC 3473 is a spiral dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type Scd in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 35 million light years from the Milky Way and about 10,000 light years across.
The galaxies NGC 4539 , IC 3434 , IC 3484 , IC 3530 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 7, 1904 .
