IC 3448 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sa Coma Berenices in the constellation of the northern sky , the 59 million light-years from an estimated Milky Way is removed. The galaxy is listed under catalog number VCC 1358 as a member of the Virgo galaxy cluster .
The galaxies NGC 4489 , NGC 4498 , IC 3433 , IC 3484 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 7, 1904 .
