IC 3430 is a dwarf galaxy in the constellation Virgo north of the ecliptic . It is an estimated 87 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 25,000 ly. The galaxy is listed under catalog number VVC 1273 as part of the Virgo Galaxy Cluster.
The galaxies NGC 4451 , NGC 4469 , NGC 4483 , IC 793 are in the same area of the sky .
