IC 3661 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type S in the constellation Coma Berenices the northern sky , an estimated 316 million light-years from the Milky Way center. In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 3654 , IC 3656 , IC 3659 , IC 3691 .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on January 27, 1904 .
