IC 3663 is an elliptical dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type dE in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 39 million light years from the Milky Way and <10,000 light years in diameter. She is listed as a member of the Virgo galaxy cluster under catalog number VCC 1886 .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4606 , NGC 4640 , IC 810 , IC 3643 .
The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 10, 1904 .
