IC 3895 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sb in the constellation Hounds in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 329 million light years from the Milky Way and about 80,000 light years in diameter. Together with IC 3892 it forms the (optical) galaxy pair Holm 487 or KPG 360 .

In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 3879 , IC 3888 , IC 3893 , IC 3897 .

The Type Ia supernova NAME AT 2016ccl was observed here.

The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 21, 1903 .
