IC 4403 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBab in the constellation Bear Keeper in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 194 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 60,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky is the galaxy IC 4409 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on July 3, 1896 .
