Ilja Roßbander (born September 29, 1988 in Magdeburg ) is a German actor .

Life

Roßbander is the son of the actor Erik Roßbander , originally from Dresden , who has been a member of the Bremen Shakespeare Company for over 20 years . His mother Heike Neugebauer works for the Bremen Shakespeare Company as a stage and costume designer. He therefore grew up in Bremen . From 2009 to 2013 he completed his acting training at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich . In the 2011/12 season he appeared as a guest at the Münchner Kammerspiele . He played in E la nave mainly by Federico Fellini . In 2012 he played at the Münchner Kammerspiele in Die Vögel , the third year staging of the Otto Falckenberg School.

In 2013, Roßbander was engaged by director Dieter Wedel for the role of Giselher in Die Nibelungen at the Nibelungen Festival in Worms ; however, he was replaced by Kai Malina during the rehearsal phase .
