The Infiniti QX60 is a 7-seater SUV built by Infiniti since 2012 . The model range was initially marketed as Infiniti JX and, like all Infiniti models, received a new name in summer 2013. Production takes place at the Nissan plant in Smyrna (Tennessee) in the United States , which is also the main sales market for the luxury crossover.
In April 2012, sales of the mid-size SUV began in the United States and shortly thereafter throughout North America . The platform comes from the Nissan Murano , but in an extended version. This version of the platform is also the basis of the Nissan Pathfinder launched in 2013 .
The QX60 is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 VVTE petrol engine with variable valve control . The output is 198 kW (265 PS) and is normally delivered to the front wheels by means of a CVT transmission . An electronically controlled all-wheel drive distributes the power to the rear wheels or to individual wheels if necessary.
