The Infiniti Q60 is a coupe of middle class based on the Infiniti Q50 of the Japanese car manufacturer Infiniti . The coupé was presented for the first time as a 404 kW (550 PS) Q60 Concept at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January 2015. A year later, Infiniti also showed the production version of the Q60 at the North American International Auto Show. It was also sold in Central Europe between October 2016 and August 2018.

Neiman Marcus Limited Edition

At Christmas 2016, the US luxury department store Neiman Marcus sold the Q60 as part of the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book as a special model Neiman Marcus Limited Edition at a price of 63,000 US dollars. Of this, US $ 1,000 per vehicle was donated to a good cause. The special model is powered by the three-liter gasoline engine, and features include an adaptive chassis, a Bose sound system, a touchscreen infotainment system, various carbon applications on the body and white leather upholstery in combination with a gold-colored exterior finish.

Technical specifications

The Q60 is offered with 19-inch rims and a 7-speed automatic transmission as standard . With the "In Touch System" , the owner can always see various parameters such as the vehicle location, the oil level or the tire pressure via the app.

The vehicle is powered by a two-liter in-line four-cylinder gasoline engine with 155 kW (211 hp) from Mercedes-Benz or a three-liter V6 gasoline engine with an output of 298 kW (405 hp). Both engines are also used in the Q50.

Project Black S.

At the 87th Geneva Motor Show , Infiniti and the Renault Sport F1 Team presented the Project Black S hybrid electric vehicle based on the Q60 on March 6, 2017 . Together with the 298 kW (405 PS) three-liter V6 petrol engine from the Q60S, an ERS system known from Formula 1 for energy recovery takes over the drive. This should increase the performance by 25 percent. A near-series variant was presented at the Paris Motor Show in October 2018.
