Ingo Wilhelm Paul Lenßen (born January 2, 1961 in Krefeld ) is a German lawyer and specialist lawyer for criminal law . He became known as a TV actor .

Life

Lenßen played ice hockey as a youth in the youth team of the Krefeld EV . He studied law from 1982 to 1986 at the University of Konstanz . In the 1986/87 season he was also active as an ice hockey player in the position of attacker in the fourth-class Regionalliga Süd-West for the EC Konstanz ; for whose team he also appeared as a coach. Later - at least the 1994/95 season - he worked as head coach of the Swiss amateur club EHC Kreuzlingen . After a legal clerkship in a law firm in Rio de Janeiro in 1988 and his exam as an assessor in 1989, he studied European Studies from 1989 to 1990 at the European Institute of Saarland University in Saarbrücken . When he was admitted to the bar in 1990, he worked in the law firm Müller, Lenßen, Beck in Meersburg . There he worked as a partner until 2003 . In his own law firm in Bodman-Ludwigshafen , he works as a specialist lawyer for criminal law and also works in the areas of marriage, family and inheritance law. Recently he has also been working as a player advisor for Brazilian soccer players. In future, he will primarily look after the players in the 2nd Bundesliga and 3rd soccer league .

In March 2019, Lenßen became a new member of the DEL arbitration tribunal.

Lenßen first played in the Sat.1 series Richter Alexander Hold . From March 2003 to November 2009 he had his own series with Lenßen & Partner , in which he investigated as a lawyer in advance of a negotiation or hired detectives to observe people. After the cancellation of his series, he worked again regularly in Judge Alexander Hold from May 2010 . A feature film produced in 2009 with the title Lenßen - The Film was shown for the first time in January 2011 on Sat.1. In 2012 Lenßen stood in front of the camera for his series Lenßen at the new location in Essen. On March 18, 2012, he made a guest appearance on Sport1 . Since 2014 he has had two new programs on Sat.1 Gold called Ingo Lenßen: Your judgment please! and Lenßen enlightened! . Since 2015 he has been live in the Lenßen broadcasts - The legal speaking hour and Safe is safe - the service magazine with Ingo Lenßen .

According to the MDR, Lenßen is a member of World Vision. He was involved in both Stars at the Limit and the quiz Taxi for World Vision.

Since 2015 he has also been active as an advocate for the victim aid organization Weißer Ring . He uses videos and a poster campaign to draw attention to the rights and protection of crime victims.

Private

Ingo Lenßen lives on Lake Constance . He had earlier residences on the island of Reichenau and in Meersburg .

In 2004 Lenßen was elected Beard Bearer of the Year 2004 by the Association of German Beard Clubs and is thus an honorary member of the Beard and Culture Club Belle Mustache e. V. in Leinfelden-Echterdingen.

Ingo Lenßen is also deputy chairman of the Friends' Association of Schule Schloss Salem , a private boarding school on Lake Constance.
