mode

All competitions hosted by DreamHack or Electronic Sports League with a purse of at least $ 200,000 are considered Grand Slam competitions . In the first two seasons, the first four of these events from the last ten were to be won in order to receive the Grand Slam title and thus prize money of one million US dollars. Six victories are required since season 3. Alternatively, four are still enough if one of these wins was achieved either at ESL One Cologne, IEM Katowice or a Valve Major tournament hosted by ESL or DreamHack.

After winning the title, all wins will be reset and the hunt for the prize money will start again. If a team manages to thwart the final victory of another team, they will receive a bonus of 100,000 US dollars - provided the team is not on the threshold of winning the Grand Slam itself.
