Ion Davidov
Ion Davidov or Pieter Gierek (born December 15, 1974 in Bucharest ) is a former Romanian porn actor in gay hardcore films . He is best known for his work for the Bel Ami production company in films such as Frisky Summer and Lucky Lukas .
Life
Davidov grew up in the late phase of the Ceauşescu dictatorship in a small town near Bucharest; he had two siblings, a younger and an older brother. Because of his unconventional looks - he had long hair and wore earrings in both ears - he was often exposed to hostility at school and in his family. He left school after 8th grade and went to Hungary at the age of fifteen to find work. He had various jobs as a helper and construction worker in Budapest . Davidov's first sexual contacts, primarily heterosexual experiences , also took place at this time . In his spare time he went to discos and took an active part in Budapest's party scene.
In 1995 he was approached by a photographer on one of his nightly forays through Budapest, asking if he wanted to work as a model for erotic photos and films. Davidov then did screen tests and got his first small role in a gay porn film in 1995, in the production The Vampire of Budapest, produced and directed by Kristen Bjorn . Davidov took part in a group scene, namely in a male orgy filmed in a public bath house at original venues on Margaret Island in Budapest. At that time Davidov was only engaged for a "passive" oral sex scene in which he was orally satisfied by another man.
In 1995 Davidov was discovered by the Slovak film producer and film director George Duroy , who gave him a leading role in his porn film The Gangbangers produced for Falcon International . In this film, Davidov appeared under the stage name Peter Gierek with long hair tied in a ponytail . He took over active oral sex scenes and was also seen for the first time in several anal sex scenes, where he was, as in his later films, as "Top", i. H. in the active role.
Davidov achieved his ultimate breakthrough as a gay porn star with the film trilogy Frisky Summer, which was also released from 1995 on the Bel Ami label . Along with Lukas Ridgeston and Johan Paulik, he was one of the “classic Bel Ami stars” and became an “icon of gay cinema” through his roles in the Bel Ami films.
In the first part of the Frisky Summer trilogy, he was in the opening scene, meanwhile with short hair, a cowboy hat and baggy shorts, and in a threesome with masturbation and anal sex (together with Milos Janek and Kristian Jensen) and seen as the top in the final scene after rollerblading with Johan Paulik. In Frisky Summer 2 (1996) he played alongside Dano Sulik . In Frisky Summer 3 (1998) he had a foursome scene with Karl Tenner , Erik Kovac and Sergei Grigoriev .
In 1996 Davidov was seen in the film Out at Last , again together with Paulik . The film contained scenes that had originally been shot for other Bel Ami films but had not been released before, including the original rollerblader scene in which Davidov could still be seen with long hair and a ponytail.
In 1996 he shot Lukas' Story 3 , where he played sex scenes with Tomas Belko and Dusan Antal and for the first time together with Lukas Ridgeston. The initially unpublished threesome with Davidov, Ridgeston and Daniel Valent later appeared in the film Out At Last: Souvenirs (1997).
In 1997 he shot again for Falcon International the porn film Wide Open , in which he had oral and anal sex in a camping scene. He also starred in the 1997 Bel Ami cult film and bestseller An American in Prague . In 1998 the porn movie Lucky Lukas was released, in which Davidov and Ridgeston had mutual anal sex with each other. This "flip-flop scene" was the only time Davidov took on the passive role in an anal sex scene.
Davidov's last original film for Bel Ami, TeamPlay , was released in 2000. As a member of a male swimming team, he celebrates his birthday with the other team members; the birthday party finds its climax in various sex scenes and in a group orgy. Later a documentary about the production company Bel Ami, in which Davidov could be seen, and various DVD boxes with compilations from previous Bel Ami films were published.
After retiring from the porn business, Davidov went to Western Europe , where he worked in a tattoo studio in Spain . Today he is the owner of his own tattoo studio; he is married and has a family man. An entry about Ion Davidov in a gay blog from 2009 gives Brussels as his current residence.
Role Image and Marketing
Davidov embodied the type of young, Eastern European man primarily cast by Bel Ami , well-trained and without body hair, who was presented in individual sex scenes in outdoor scenes against a rural backdrop, for example in the forest , on an abandoned farm , in a barn or in the hay . The aim was to evoke the mood of a gay Arcadia , for example in Lucky Lucas . Davidov's scenes were often initiated with outdoor activities (such as camping , mountain biking and hiking ).
Davidov has several tattoos , which were regularly seen in his film appearances and which increased his recognition value. At the beginning of 1995 he had a tattoo with a spider web motif and a scorpion above the pubic area on his right shoulder . In 1997 Davidov added another ring to his tattoo on his shoulder.
Davidov was intensively marketed by the production company Bel Ami. Several times, including Frisky Summer 1: Best Friends (1995) and Out At Last 1- Souvenirs (1997), he was featured as a cover model alongside Johan Paulik and Lukas Ridgeston ; During his active career, he was the last cover model in Lucky Lukas in 1998 . Even after the end of his active career, he was selected as a cover model for the publication of previously unreleased scenes and bonus material, such as the compilation Out At Last 4 - Bazaar , published in 2004 .
Alongside the film publications, various photo series appeared in the magazines Homens (1990s), Freshmen (1996), Mandate (1999, 2000) and Unzipped (2000). In an interview published in December 1998 in the movie magazine Manshots , which specializes in gay pornography , Davidov spoke openly about the reprisals in communist Romania, his first, then primarily heterosexual experiences in Budapest and about his collaboration with Bel Ami stars Johan Paulik and Lukas Ridgeston.
In Bruno Gmünder Verlag published from 1997 to 2000 several illustrated books , Postcard-books, calendars and photo books in which Ion Davidov as Bel amino Model was presented in erotic photos. These were softcore recordings (solos, duos and group scenes) specially produced for the photo market . Photos by Davidov can be seen in the books Frisky Memories (1997), Intimate Friends (1999) and Perfect Couples (1999), among others.
He was photographed several times for the picture book Perfect Couples together with Lukas Ridgeston and also with Daniel Valent , Max Pellion and Dano Sulik. In 1998 the photo book Photos of Ion was published , a collection of glossy photos in which Davidov was the focus as an erotic model.
