Jürgen Wilhelm (born November 2, 1950 ) is a former German soccer player who played for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga .

career

As a player from SC 09 Oberlahnstein in the 1st amateur league Rhineland in the 1970/71 round, the 20-year-old Jürgen Wilhelm was appointed to the German national soccer team of amateurs . On March 3, 1971 he was used by DFB coach Jupp Derwall in the storm of the DFB-Elf in the 2-4 defeat against Luxembourg. In the 1971/72 season Wilhelm played seven times for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga. He scored three goals. After Borussia was relegated, he made 24 appearances with eight goals in the Regionalliga West in the 1972/73 season .

Wilhelm's other career took place largely in southwest German amateur football. In the 1974/75 season he won the championship in the Southwest Amateur League with Eintracht Kreuznach and was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga. With the Southwest Association selection, he won in the finals from March 29 to 31, 1975 in Meppen in the final against North Baden on penalties, the country cup .

Only in the 1975/76 season did the striker return to paid football. Wilhelm scored 14 times in 33 games for the second division promoted SG Eintracht 02 Bad Kreuznach . He couldn't prevent the direct relegation.

In 1982 Wilhelm moved to the upper division competitor Binger FVgg.
