Jack (Joaquim) Valadas (born January 15, 1985 in Pretoria ) is a South African ice hockey player who has played for the Wildcats Johannesburg in the Gauteng Province Ice Hockey League since 2009 .

Career

Jack Valadas started his career with the Johannesburg Bulls . For the 2003 season he moved to the Wildcats Johannesburg (until 2009: Krugersdorp Wildcats ), for which he is on the ice in the Gauteng Province Ice Hockey League , one of the regional leagues whose winners play the South African national championship. With the Wildcats he won the South African championship title in 2003 and 2004.

International

Valadas was in the junior division for South Africa at the U18 Junior World Championships in 2001 , 2002 (in Division III) and 2003 (in Division II) as well as in the U20 Junior World Championships in 2002 (in Division III), 2003 , 2004 (each in Division II) and 2005 (again in Division III) for South Africa on the ice.

With the men's national team , the striker took part in the world championships of Division II in 2002 , 2003 , 2006 , 2009 , 2012 , 2014 and 2015 and Division III in 2005 , 2007 , 2008 , 2010 , when he had the most assists and scorer points in the tournament , 2011 , 2013 , 2016 , 2017 and 2018 .
