After another year in Briançon, he returned to Slovenia in the summer of 2015, where he played for HDD Jesenice in the Inter-National League . After his contract there was no longer renewed in summer 2016, he joined HDD Jesenice for the second time in December of that year, for which he now appeared in the Alps Hockey League .
