Jamie Anne Allman (* 6. April 1977 in Parsons , Kansas as Jamie Anne Brown ) is an American actress . She became famous for her role Terry Marek from the series The Killing .

life and career

Jamie Anne Allman grew up on a farm in the US state of Kansas. She attended Chetopa Elementary School and then Labette County High School. After graduating from school, she attended Labette Community College in her native Parsons for two years before moving to Orange County, California with her mother and other relatives . Encouraged by her mother, she took acting classes at Playhouse West in Los Angeles .

Allman took on her first role in front of the camera in 1999 with an appearance in the film Fashionably LA . This was soon followed by guest appearances in the series Auf der Flucht , Practice - The Lawyers , New York Cops - NYPD Blue , Boston Public , Six Feet Under - Always Dying , The Guardian - Savior with a Heart , CSI: Miami , Cold Case - No Victim is ever forgotten and CSI: Vegas . From 2002 to 2003 she appeared repeatedly as Connie Riesler in the series The Shield - Law of Violence . In 2004 she appeared as Martha Shaw in a supporting role in the love story Like a Single Day . In 2008 she presented the splatter film Cabin Massacre the lead role of Scarlet .

From 2011 to 2012 Allman was in the role of Terry Marek with the main cast of the first two seasons of the crime series The Killing . She then appeared in the series Bones , Chicago PD , Longmire , SWAT and Criminal Minds . In 2018 she took on a small role in the role of a reporter in the film Aufbruch zum Mond . Personal

Jamie Anne Allman married actor Marshall Allman in 2006 and took his family name. In 2013 they became parents of male twins. In 2014 their third child, a daughter, was born.
