Comarca del Jiloca
Jiloca or Comarca del Jiloca ( Aragonese Xiloca or Redolada d'o Xiloca ) is a comarca ( administrative unit ) of the autonomous region of Aragon in Spain . It is located in the northwest of the province of Teruel and is named after the Jiloca river that crosses it. It has 13,829 inhabitants on an area of 1,932.1 km². After its founding, the comarca was first called Comarca de Calamocha after its capital .
The comarca borders in the west on the province of Guadalajara , in the north on the Campo de Daroca , in the east on the comarcas Cuencas Mineras and Campo de Belchite and in the south on the Comunidad de Teruel .

Saffron , one of the most expensive spices , is harvested in the Comarca Jiloca . Processing is a locally important branch of industry. In addition, the ham -production (v a..
