Jo Marie Dominiak (born May 18, 1996 in Dortmund ) is a German singer and songwriter .

Jo Marie lives with her family in Lünen and is studying communication sciences in Münster , completing her master's degree since 2017.

Career

2006–2010: First casting shows

At the age of 9, Dominiak became the new child's voice in the musical Starlight Express in 2006 . In the Kiddy Contest she reached the semifinals in 2006 and the final in 2007 with the song Ghosts , a cover version of David Bisbal's Silencio . She went on tour through Austria with the other finalists. In 2008 she was represented in the children's pop musical Futura, produced by the kiddy contest producers Norman Weichselbaum and Erwin Kiennast , and the album published for it. This was followed by a supporting role in the movie My Friend from Faro . In autumn she then went to Constantin Entertainmenton tour and moderated live in several German cities.
