The 1998/99 season was knocked off as the bottom of the table of the NLA ended and SC Langnau only managed to get the league in seven games in the league qualification against EHC Chur . During the 2007-08 season , Fust was introduced as head coach of EHC Visp after Terry Yake was sacked . In the 2008/09 season he reached the semi-finals of the playoffs with the Valais, a season later the regular season was finished in first place and lost in the playoff finals in five games against Lausanne HC . In January 2010, Fust announced that he was leaving the EHC Visp at the end of the season at his own request. A short time later he agreed on a two-year contract with the SCL Tigers .

In his debut season , Fust led the Langnauer for the first time since the introduction of the new mode in the playoffs.
