Jonás Ramalho Chimeno (born June 10, 1993 in Barakaldo ) is a Spanish football player of Angolan descent.

Career

society

Ramalho started his career with SD Leioa . In 2003 he moved to the Athletic Bilbao Academy . Without ever having played for the farm team or the second team before, he was in the professional squad for the first time in December 2009, but was never used. In the same month he made his debut for Athletic Bilbao B in the Segunda División B . In the 2010/11 season he came on six appearances for Bilbao B and eight games for the farm team CD Baskonia in the Tercera División . In November 2011, he made his debut on the 13th match day of the 2011/12 season against Sevilla FC for the professionals of Bilbao in the Primera División .

In the summer of 2013 Ramalho was awarded for two years to the second division club FC Girona . In his first season with Girona he was used in 25 games in the Segunda División , in his second season 2014/15 he came to 36 games in which he could score two goals.

For the 2015/16 season he returned to Bilbao, where he was used for Bilbao B, which had since been promoted to the Segunda División. In the 2015/16 season he played 19 games in the second highest Spanish division. With Bilbao B he had to relegate to the Segunda División B at the end of the season as bottom of the table.

For the 2016/17 season Ramalho returned to Girona FC, where he received a three-year contract.

National team

Ramalho played for various Spanish junior national teams. With the U-19 selection , he became European champion in 2011 and 2012 .

Personal

Ramalho is the son of a Basque mother and an Angolan father. He is the first dark-skinned player in the club's history.
