At the beginning of the summer preparation for 2014, Bono was promoted to the first team squad behind Jan Oblak and Miguel Ángel Moyà after Thibaut Courtois and Daniel Aranzubia had left . On September 1, 2014, he was loaned to the second division Real Saragossa until the end of the 2014/15 season. There Bono was initially third goalkeeper behind Óscar Whalley and Pablo Alcolea , but was able to work out a regular place at the end of the season and made 16 appearances in the Segunda División in the regular season. By reaching 6th place in the table, Real Saragossa played for promotion in the subsequent play-offs. After they had prevailed against FC Girona in a return match , they had to admit defeat in the final of the UD Las Palmas . Bono was used in all three games. During the summer break, the loan was extended for the 2015/16 season. Bono was a regular goalkeeper until the end of January 2016 and played in 19 league games. He then lost his regular place to Manu Herrera and was no longer used until the end of the season.
