Sergi Gómez Sola (born March 28, 1992 in Arenys de Mar , province of Barcelona ) is a Spanish football player who plays for Sevilla FC .

Career

Sergi Gómez moved from CE Mataró to La Masia , the youth academy of FC Barcelona , at the age of 14 . Within four years Gómez won the championship with various youth teams in Barcelona. In 2009 he won the Liga de División de Honor with Barcelona's A youth team , where they fought a tough duel with local rivals Espanyol, in which his current team-mate Cristian Tello played. In 2010 he was first used in the B team, which was playing in the Segunda División B at the time . With Barça B, he made promotion to the Segunda División at the end of this season , after successfully coping with the play-offs with the team.
