Óliver Torres Muñoz , known by his first name Óliver (born November 10, 1994 in Navalmoral de la Mata , Extremadura ), is a Spanish football player . He is under contract with Sevilla FC and his preferred position is the offensive midfield.
Career
In the club
Óliver began his career at Atlético Madrid , for whose youth teams he played from 2008. From the 2012/13 season, he was part of the squad of the second team, with whom he in the Segunda División B played. On August 20, 2013, he came to his first appearance in the Primera División when he was substituted on for the game against Levante UD . He scored his first goal on October 27, 2013 when he played against Betis Sevilla .
On January 31, 2014 Torres was loaned to Villarreal FC until the end of the 2013/14 season. After initially sidelining with a shoulder injury, he made his debut in the home game against Betis Sevilla on March 2, 2014 when he was substituted on in the second half. In the 2014/15 season he played on loan for FC Porto in Portugal . In August 2016 he returned to FC Porto on loan for a year and a half. On July 1, 2017, he was then firmly committed by FCP for a transfer fee of 20 million euros.
In the national team
Óliver Torres played in various Spanish youth national teams, with the U-19 national team becoming European champion in Estonia in 2012.
