Lucas Ariel Ocampos (born July 11, 1994 in Quilmes ) is an Argentine football player who is under contract with Sevilla FC .

Career

society

Ocampos began his professional football career in 2011 with River Plate , with whom he made the promotion from the Primera B Nacional to the Primera División in 2012 as a champion . In 2012 he moved to the French Ligue 1 for AS Monaco for 13 million euros . There he signed a contract until 2017. In the 2012/13 season he won the championship of the second French league with AS Monaco and thus rose to the first French league, Ligue 1. He scored his first goal in Ligue 1 on October 5, 2013 in a 2-1 win over AS Saint-Étienne .

At the end of February 2015, Ocampos moved to Olympique Marseille on loan until the end of the 2014/15 season . After the season he was firmly committed.

On July 3, 2019, he signed a four-season contract with Sevilla FC (for 15 million euros).

National team

Ocampos played for the U-15 and U-17 of his country and scored a total of 5 goals in 12 games. On October 9, 2019, he scored the equalizer in the 2-2 draw in the friendly against Germany in his debut for the senior national team of Argentina at Signal Iduna Park , Dortmund . On October 13, 2019, he scored his second goal in two games in the 6-1 win against Ecuador at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero , Alicante , Spain .
