The Algarve 1000 km race 2010 , also known as 1000 Km do Algarve , took place on July 17th at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve and was the third round of the Le Mans Series of this year.

The race

Thanks to the absence of the Peugeot and Audi factory cars , the Oreca team achieved a clear overall victory. Olivier Panis , Stéphane Sarrazin and Nicolas Lapierre won the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP by five laps over the Lola B10 / 60 driven by Neel Jani and Nicolas Prost .
